As a pregnant woman, you are barraged with information and advice from all sides. While much of it is well-intentioned, it may not be fully accurate, nor may it be relevant to your family. As a childbirth educator, Amy will not make decisions for you, but arm you with the highest-quality, evidence-based information available so that YOU can choose what is right for you.
Certified by Lamaze International, Amy has access to the best and most current information. Her classes are fun, relaxed, and tailored to meet the personal needs of her students. Whether you prefer a group setting, or to be taught privately in the comfort of your home, Amy has a class for you.
Her four-week course, taught once weekly includes:
- Week 1: Anatomy & physiology of birth, recognizing labor
- Week 2: Normal labor, birth & comfort measures
- Week 3: Possible Medical Interventions & Postpartum
- Week 4: Breastfeeding overview, Infant Care, & Labor Rehearsal
Amy also offers private childbirth, breastfeeding, and infant care classes taught in your home and tailored to meet your needs.
